Monument Valley, Arizona
Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park is part of the Colorado Plateau. The massive buttes, monoliths and mesas have been sculpted by earth, wind and water and known round the world. Many of the rock formations throughout the valley have creative names for the rich reddish hues of the towering buttes. Displays of wildflowers fill the drab lansacape with a flash of unexpected color.
